Voorwaarden
- You and your parents do not have the Korean nationality.
- You do not hold Korean citizenship.
- You should have adequate health, both mentally and physically, to stay in a foreign country for a long time.
- If you are applying for an undergraduate course (bachelor or associate's degree), you are under 25 years of age as of 1 March of the selection year.
- If you are applying for a graduate course (master, Ph.D or research), you are under 40 years of age as of 1 September of the selection year.
- If you are applying for an undergraduate course (bachelor or associate's degree), you have finished or are scheduled to finish formal education of all high school courses by 1 March of the selection year.
- You have a grade point average (GPA) of 80% or higher from the school you attended most recently.
- If you are applying for a graduate course (master, Ph.D or research), you have earned a bachelor’s or master's degree by 28 February of the selection year or can prove you are expected to graduate by 31 July of the selection year.
- You are not currently attending and have not previously graduated from a university or graduate school in Korea.

Aanvragen
- The application registration is normally opened from early February to mid March every year. However, the deadline for application submission is set by the Korean Embassy in the Netherlands, so please contact the embassy for the specific application deadline and application instructions: koreanembassynl@mofa.go.kr.
- You can download the application documents from the 2024 GKS notice on the Study in Korea website.
- The first selection of candidates is made by the Korean Embassy in the Netherlands. The second selection is made by the National Institute for International Education (NIIED) in South Korea. Read more about the scholarship and the selection procedure on the NIIED website.
